Blood alcohol over time
Quick check: how many standard drinks?
How it works
- One Dutch standard drink (standaardglas) = 10 g alcohol: 250 ml pils (5%), 100 ml wine (12%), 35 ml spirits (35%). Alcohol grams = ml × ABV × 0.789.
- Each drink is absorbed over 30 minutes (a fast assumption, so the peak errs high).
- Body-water factor 0.60 (male) / 0.50 (female); elimination 0.10‰ per hour, the slow end of normal.
- "Earliest drive" waits until the estimate is 20% below your limit and all drinks are absorbed.
